"Boom Town" is an historic documentary in post production. In April of 1917 the United States had joined the Allies in World War I. On a cold December morning that same year, in the middle of a cornfield along the lower Kanawha River in West Virginia, the ground was first broken for the construction of Explosive Plant "C." It was the site for the world's largest gunpowder plant. The plant's construction, and the city around it, was the largest undertaking of its time, second only to the building of the Panama Canal.

"Building Eden" is another documentary in production. It covers the history of Fairchild Tropical Garden in Coral Gables, Florida. It is one of the world's preeminent botanical gardens, with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees and vines. The Garden is known as an international leader in tropical plant research, and plays an important role in preserving the biodiversity of the tropical environment. You can view a video clip of "Building Eden" on our Streaming Video page.

Our newest narrative project is a science fiction short entitled "Lost Horizon." The script was written by award winning writer Rosa Tuner Knapp, based on her short story of the same name. We are currently in the process of casting and scouting locations. Principle photography is scheduled for late winter or early spring.

Most people regard writing down their life story as an overwhelming project. More often than not, it goes undone. We make recording your personal history easy! Visit Family Biography Videos.
